Staff ID’s Saga || List of newly recruited teachers who could be affected due to inaccurate information provided

The management of Ghana Education Service has released a list of newly recruited GES teachers whose staff IDs could not be generated due to some reasons.

According to the management of GES, it has encountered an immeasurable challenges in generating the Staff ID’s for some newly recruited teachers to enable the process of their salaries.

The management reiterated that the cause of the challenge which is currently under development is due to inaccurate information provided to officers responsible for the creating of the staff ID’s.

Incorrect SSNIT numbers, missing bank details, late submission of assumption of duty and incomplete documents submitted to the Headquarters had led to these incident according to management.

However,  some newly recruited teachers have blamed the IPPD coordinators of the various district education offices for this unacceptable situation.

Others also believe that the aforementioned issues are untrue and skewed. “It is a calculated plan by the government to delay the payment of their salaries”, a victim lamented.
