NEWS IN: Education Ministry to meet UTAG over earlier notice to resume strike
Latest update reaching the front desk of Honestynewgh.com reveals that a meeting has been scheduled between the government and leadership of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) over the recent notice of resuming members’ strike action.
The said meeting is scheduled today, 6th October at exactly 3:00pm for further negotiations.
In an earlier notice release, the Association had complained that the one-month moratorium placed on its suspended strike elapsed last month without any significant progress.
The Association has strongly declared that if the Employer’s position does not change by Friday, October 8, members will resume the strike action suspended in August.
