UENR Admission 2025/2026 Entry Requirements
Here is the UENR admission 2025/2026 entry requirements for both undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Entry Requirements for Regular Undergraduate Applicants
1. SSSCE Candidates: Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
2. WASSCE Candidates: Credit Passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
3. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level Candidates: Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for (Science students).
4. Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) holders: Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).
5. Admission of Higher National Diploma (HND) Candidates to First Degree Programmes: Applicants must have graduated with a good HND certificate (i.e. at least 2nd Class Lower Division).
In addition, the applicant must have acquired a 2-year post-HND qualification working experience. Other Diploma qualifications from elsewhere assessed to be equivalent to HND may be similarly considered.
All foreign qualifications should be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission to tertiary institutions in Ghana.
UENR Admission 2025/2026 Entry Requirements for Diploma Programmes
1. Science and Technology Programmes: WASSCE Candidates with Credit Passes (A1-C6) in five (5) subjects comprising three core subjects, English language, Integrated Science, and Mathematics, plus two (2) elective subjects.
2. Arts, Business, and Humanities Programmes: WASSCE Candidates with Credit Passes (A1-C6) in five (5) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus two (2) elective subjects.
UENR Admission 2025/2026 – How to Apply
Here is the procedures to follow to complete the UENR admission 2025/2026 online application process.
1. Buy your admission E-Voucher
2. Visit the UENR online admission portal here.
3. Entre your Serial Number and PIN Code on the admission e-voucher to access the official admission portal to fill the online application form.
4. Upon getting onto the UENR online application form, kindly fill the form completely with all the required informations.
5. Upon all scanned documents required such as Certificate, transcript etc for check.
6. Click complete after filling the form.
NOTE : Two (2) copies of completed online application forms together with certified copies of certificates /result slips and copies of birth certificates (Not Returnable)
are to be submitted by post to the academic and student’s affairs division of the university.
Does UENR Accept D7?
The admission board of UENR does not receive aggregate D7 for undergraduate degree programmes for the 2025/2026.
