National Council For Curriculum And Assessment Invites Qualified Persons For Immediate Employment
The National Teaching Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), an agency under the Ministry of Education mandated by Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020 invites qualified persons for immediate employment.
The National Teaching Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), an agency under the Ministry of Education mandated by Education Regulatory Bodies (Act 1023) to develop national curriculum and assessment standards for pre tertiary educational institutions other than technical and Vocational training institutions.
Below are the staff, Posts, Requirements and Mode of Application
1. POSTS
1.0. Subject Officers : English, Mathematics, History, Social Studies, Science, French, Computing, Visual Arts and Physical Education.
Requirements
1. Master’s degree in Education or any other related field from an accredited tertiary institution.
2. Evidence ot completion of National Service
3. At least six (6) years teaching experience and MUST be an Asistant Director II in the Ghana Education Service.
4. Extensive knowledge of educational policies
5. Proficiency in relevant IT Applications
6. Master’s degree in Curriculum and Pedagogy will be an added advantage.
1.1 Assessment Officers
1. Master’s degree in Education, Measurement and Evaluation or any other related field from an accredited tertiary
institution.
2. Evidence of completion of National Service
3. At least six (6) years post qualification experience
4. Extensive knowledge of educational policies
5. Excellent knowledge in curriculum issues, practices and pedagogy
6. Proficiency in relevant IT Applications
1.2 Instructional Resources Officers
1. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Publishing Studies or any other related ficld from an accredited tertiary institution
2. Evidence of completion of National Service.
3. At least three (3) years post qualification experience in publishing
4. Good knowledge of educational policies
5. Good knowledge in curriculum issues, practices and pedagogy
6. Proficiency in relevant I’T Applications
1.3. Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers
1. Master’s degree in Education, Social Science or any other related field from an accredited tertiary institution.
2. Evidence of completion of National Service
3. Minimum of six years post qualification experience in any reputable educational or research institution.
4. Experience in programme development and educational research.
5. Expert in using varied data analysis tools
6. Good knowledge in curriculum issues practice and pedagogy
7. Proficiency in relevant I’T Applications
1.4 IT OFFICERS
1. Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science or any other related field from an accredited tertiary institution.
2. Evidence of completion of National Service
3. Minimum of three years post qualification experience
4. Good knowledge in educational policies
5. High Intergrity and confidentiality
6. Membership of IT professional body will be an advantage
