Dr. Kobby Mensah, Political Marketing lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School has blurted that the Education Minister’s call for Senior High School(SHS) Graduates with D7 to be admitted to the University will never happen.
According to him, the pronouncement made by the education minister is seated on a highly political gains. “it’s a populist move by the Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum is just to pander to the electorates for votes but will never be considered by the various Tertiary Institutions in the country” he stated.
Dr Kobby Mensah was declearing his opinion when he was asked on Twitter if the academic discourse community was going to accept the recommendations made by education minister.
