JUST IN : NTC In The Process Of Awarding Credit Points To Teachers || Check the category of teachers & act fast

The Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the National Teaching Council (NTC) is in the process of awarding Credit Points to teachers who were participants of the various Learning Ghanaian Language of Instruction (GLOI)  and T2E Plus English Materials Training Programs for their Continuous Professional Development.

Henceforth,  all staff who took part  are urged to complete the Microsoft Forms and submit by Friday, June 10, 2022. Below are the attached Microsoft Forms.

According to NTC, all District Directors are required to bring the Microsoft Forms to the attention of all their staff and teachers to complete and submit it before the deadline date mentioned above.

 

What is GLOI ?

The 11 GES-approved Ghanaian Languages of Instruction (GLOI) programme, is an initiative being supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), dubbed; USAID Partnership for Education: Learning – National Reading Radio Programme (NRRP).

The Ghana Education Service (GES), on Tuesday, 17th November, 2020 launched the Ghanaian Languages of Instruction (GLOI) programme to augment the Ghana Learning Programme.

It was to improve the learning outcomes of pupils while at home in this COVID-19 era.

It was aimed at providing lessons to pupils to support them to continue their studies using radio, while they remain at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Again it aimed at ensuring a firm foundation for literacy and the development of children in Ghana.
