A statement from the management of the Coalition of Concerned Teachers sighted by Honestynewgh.com is calling the management of GES to reverse it decision concerning the new vacation date.
According to the the teacher union CCT, the academic calendar for 2021 is supposed to end on 7 December, 2021 for the JHS and 10 December, 2021 for the Pre-school and Primary.
“We want to state unequivocally that we do not agree with this directive and that the Ministry should schedule such tests to fall within the academic calendar”
“We are calling on GES to reverse this decision with immediate effect and allow teachers to proceed on their vacation”, the release added.
