Overview of Ghana Technology University College Admission
Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) is a technology oriented institution of higher learning, committed to providing an educational experience of the highest quality. Established in November 2005, GCTU was granted accreditation by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) on March 30, 2006 and officially inaugurated on August 15, 2006. The University is governed by a University Council, supported by the President, Vice President, Registrar, Deans of Faculties and staff.
The school was formerly known as Ghana Technology University College and Ghana Telecom University College. The change in name to Ghana Communication Technology University came with the passing of the Ghana Communication Technology University Bill in June 2020.
GCTU is affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and has partnerships with Aalborg University, Denmark, Coventry University, UK, CASS Europe, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and Wildau University in Germany, Maharaja Agrasen University, M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, India and UPSA, Ghana.

Applicants should please note that application submitted will not be processed until the cost of application form of GH¢150.00 is settled with banker’s draft from any bank.

Completed application forms with certified copies of Certificates / result slips should be submitted to the admissions offices before the closing date.

2. Create an account and log into the portal
3. Start your application and complete the relevant sections
4. Pay for the form using Mobile Money options
5. Finally submit your application
NOTE: Foreign Applicants with statement of results from West African Examination Council (WAEC) must add WAEC SCRATCH card(s) to their application form depending on the number of sittings.
