Government has granted financial clearance to the Ghana Education Service (GES) for the recruitment of the 2022 batch of graduates from Colleges of Education.
Latest Information from the Ministry of Education by Kwasi Kwarteng, PRO of the Ministry has revealed that the government has officially granted the GES a financial clearance to recruit 2022 batch of trained teachers from colleges of education.
As a result, all trained teachers are required to exercise patient as they wait for the 2024 recruitment portal to be officially opened.
2024 GES recruitment of trained teachers from the various accredited colleges of education and other universities has delayed for months due to the delay on the side of the Ministry of Finance to release a financial clearance to the GES.
Eligibility for GES Postings 2024
Below are the eligibility for GES Postings 2024.
1. Completed and passed the final-year College of Education Examination.
2. Have a bachelor’s degree certificate from a college of education or any recognised and accredited university in Ghana.
3. Passed the Teacher Licensure Examination
4. Completed the mandatory National Service.
