GES Directs All Teachers To Attend 3-4 Days Online ICT Training Worshop || Points for CPD & Certificates To Be Awarded
The management of Ghana Education Service (GES), in collaboration with KA Technologies (KAT) and Microsoft is hereby inviting all teachers to the upcoming Basic ICT Training to help them use the various e-learning resources that have been made available on the laptops supplied.
“As part of the One Teacher One Laptop initiative, all teachers are expected to undergo some basic ICT Training to help them use the various e-learning resources that have been made available on the laptops”, the release said.
According to the management of the upcoming training, the workshop will be organized online for all teachers.
Date And Period
The workshop will commence on 16th February, 2022 and will be held in three sessions;
I. Afternoon Session (2:00pm – 4:00pm)
ii. Afternoon Session ( 4:00pm- 6:00pm)
iii. Evening Session ( 6:00pm – 8:00pm)
Again, each teacher will have 3-4 days to complete the training and participate at any stipulated time and session.
Honor of Participation
The GES has emphatically stated that upon successful completion and Assessment, teachers will receive points for their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Certificates.
All Regional Directors are kindly requested to inform their teachers within their regions to participate.
