Factors Hindering Your CPD Points Reflection On Your NTC / TPG & How To Fix It
FACTORS HINDERING YOUR CPD POINTS REFLECTION ON YOUR NTC/TPG AND HOW TO FIX IT
It has become mandatory for every teacher in the Ghana Education Service to attend NTC training course either face-to-face or online in order to build CPD Points for licence renewal. Again after successful completion of the course, teachers will receive certificates which will earn them more points.
However, it has been noted that some teachers after attending the NTC training course do not see any CPD points reflecting on their teacher portal.
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has outlined the correction procedures for individuals to follow in order to make CPD points reflect on their various teacher portal dashboards.
Factors Hindering Your CPD Points Reflection On Your NTC/TPG
1. Those who used a different email address aside from the one on the NTC TEACHER PORTAL GHANA (tpg.ntc.gov.gh) to register for the courses on the various Online E-learning sites.
Those that provided different email addresses or phone numbers aside from the one on their NTC TPG to service providers when they attended a face-to-face workshop.
This means that one must have the same email address and phone number that matches that of the NTC TEACHER PORTAL GHANA to register for online courses or give to the service providers when filling the forms when they attend a face-to-face workshop.
2. If you enrolled on the course after its deadline, those who did that won’t gain any certificate and CPD points from NTC but they will get certificates from the Service providers which they can use to build their portfolio.
