Documents Needed For GES Transfer/ Reposting 2023.
The GES has opened the transfer and release window for teachers who have served for a particular number of years to apply in order to be posted to the district of their choice.
However, all GES Staff who wants transfer from their current district to another district in the same region are required to make available the needed documents in order to apply for transfer in the 2023/2024 academic year.

2. Inter-regional reposting form
3. Current Payslip
4. Assurance Letter
5. Certificates
6. Bank Clearance
7. Covering letter to the Regional Director for final approval.

GES Guidelines To Secure GES Inter-District Transfer / Reposting
Issuance of Assurance letters
According to the Ghana Education Service, the Issuance of Assurance letters would begin from 17th May and ends on 19th June 2023.
The processing of applications to the
Headquarters will also begin in 5th July 2023 and take effect from the beginning of the next academic year which begins on September 2023.
The GES has directed all Directors of the various Education directorates to compile and forward to the GES Headquarters, list of all staff who have been given assurance in their Region.
Completed applications should be forwarded to the GES Headquarters latest by 31st
July, 2023. Please note that documents received after this date would not be accepted.
Please note that a staff seeking reposting can only be released after the Director-
General has approved and issued out a reposting letter to the applicant.
PROCESS OF INTER REGIONAL REPOSTING FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

An Applicant seeks for an Assurance from their Region of choice through their District/Municipal/Metro Directors of Education.
Step 2
