The Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the National Council of Curriculum Assessment (NaCCA) has scheduled a 3- Day Non-Residential Training Worshop for all Junior High School Teachers across the country starting on Wednesday, 12th January, 2022 to 14th January, 2022.
Following the decision to ensure full participation and implementation of the Common Core Programme (CCP) in the impending Academic year, the GES has ensured that all participating teachers across the country are treated very well to avoid any complain in the end.
According to GES, each participants will be provided with water, breakfast, lunch and TNT. The amount for the TNT is Ghc 20.00 and the breakfast is Ghc10.00. The TNT and Breakfast money will be given to the teachers in cash.
Again the management of GES has urged all Regional Education Directors to ensure that a good meal is gotten out of the amount for lunch so that teachers do not complain.
Facilitators
From GES, Facilitators at the District level are to receive a facilitation fee of Ghc 100.00 a day for the 3 days and Ghc 30.00 a day as TNT. Water, snacks and lunch will also be Ghc 25.00 a day.
Henceforth, the management of GES wishes to bring to the attention of all stakeholders, participating teachers, facilitators and all District Directors that, monies for the organisation of these workshops are Tax-Free.
Funds for Logistics
Funds for logistics such as Manila cards, pencils, pen, etc. for the cluster or School-based and Regional training will be made avallable. The amount per Region will be dependent on how many districts there are in each Region.
