Here’s the full list of unaccredited programmes offered at KNUST and Legon
The 2021 Auditor-General’s Report has divulged that 374 academic programmes offered at both Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana (Legon) are uncredited.
According to the report, out of the 374 academic programmes 14 are Diploma Programmes, 80 undergraduate courses, 213 Post-Graduate courses and 61 are Ph.D uncredited programmes.
Again the report indicated that 190 programmes are sent to National Accreditation Board (NAB) for accreditation and reaccreditation with 109 yet to be sent to NAB for accreditation.”
The Auditor-General has recommended to Management of KNUST and UG to cease running programmes that are not accredited or have their accredited certificates expired in order to avoid sanctions by the NAB.

This recommendation, the report indicated, will be in force until the respective programmes are accredited or renewed.
