Candidates, centres & districts may have different questions in the 2022 BECE – WAEC
The management of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has made new changes to the upcoming 2022 Basic Education Examination Certificate (BECE).
According to the management, the format of the exams will differ from what it was for the previous years.
The 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022. The exams which will last for five days will end on Friday 21st October 2022.
Per the new changes, there is a possibility of candidates, centres and districts having distinguishable set of questions.
However, the standards for each district’s and candidate’s question will be on the same level. Questions for each student may differ and no student will be able to approach a friend or other student for assistance.
Following the leakages of questions in the 2021 WASSCE, WAEC promised to release a serialized objective questions for its various examinations.
According to WAEC, this changes may help to minimise the malpractices that happen in exams centres, hence protecting the integrity of the exams.
