The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in the North East Region has sacked some teachers from the Service over fake appointment letters.
According to the official released statement from the Directorate signed by Mr. Simon Anane Amokase, these persons who claimed to have been appointed and posted to some schools in the various districts in the region are fake and should be withdrawn immediately from the classroam.
“All districts and municipal directors are to ensure that such teachers’ appointments are terminated with immediate effect”, the statement added.
From the statement, this confirmation was made at the Human Resource Unit of Ghana Education Service (HQ)-Accra upon a request of verification from the North East Regional Education Directorate-Walewale.
