|| JUST IN || GES, CAGD Releases Biometric Registration Dates For Newly Posted Teachers. Check all details HERE

The management of Ghana Education Service has  released the biometric registration dates for newly recruited teachers.

In order for newly posted teachers to start receiving their salaries, it is a mandatory they get a Staff- ID and undergo biometric registration.

In a document sighted by Honestynewsgh, the GES in collaboration with Controller and Accountant General’s Department has announced to begin the biometric registration in March 2022.

The Biometric registration for newly recruited teachers is set to begin after the release of staff IDs for the newly recruited teachers.

The Staff-ID’s for the newly posted is yet to be released. Hence all newly recruited teachers should understand that the staff- IDs will be released in batches.

Below are the Dates for the biometric registration of the various regions across the nation.

Volta region – 22nd to 25th March

Ashanti region – 22nd to 27th March

Northern region – 22nd to 28th March

Eastern region – 26th to 27th March

Brong Ahafo region – 28th March to 1st April

Upper East region – 26th to 28th March

Central Region – 28th March to 30th March

Western Region – 29th March to 2nd April

Upper West region – 30th March to 2nd April

Greater Accra region – 22nd March to 26th March

BIOMETRIC REGISTRATION CENTRES 

According to the document released, the Venue for the biometric registration for Greater Accra region will take place at the Ministry of Finance Headquarters.

Also the remaining regions will have theirs at the various GNAT Regional Offices.

BIOMETRIC REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS 

1. Appointment letter

2. Employment form ( from the office)

3. Assumption of duty letter (from headteachers)

4. Biometric SSNIT ID card or number

5. Birth certificate/ Baptismal certificate

6. Bank account details ( either a current or savings account)
