Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has published the dates for payment of salaries for civil servants for the year 2022.
Salaries and wages of government employees are usually paid through the Controller and Accountant General’s Department. Employees always receive their salaries at the end of every month. However, payment date for each month varies depending on some internal or external factors.
In the process, Banks receive payment from Controller first before the monies are credited into the workers accounts.
Per the 2022 schedule, the earliest date for the payment of salaries is December 19th, 2022 whiles the latest payment date is 27th September, 2022.
CAGD In a statement sighted by honestynewsgh announced that:
“Notice is hereby given that the year 2022 Salaries and Wages of Civil Servants, the
Ghana Education Service (GES) and all other Public Servants paid by the Controller and Accountant-Generals’ Department will be paid on the dates indicated below;
MONTHS DATES
January 21st
February 25th
March 25th
April 26th
May 26th
June 24th
July 26th
August 26th
September 27th
October 25th
November 25th
December 19th
“The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates
indicated above. Any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments Agencies, Assemblies and respective Banks”, the statement added.
