GNAT Issues a Statement to Members Over Delay in Loan Processing
GNAT Loan Processing Delay
The management of the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT, through a statement wishes to assure all members (loan applicants) that the processing of the loans will be finalised very soon.
According to GNAT, the delay in the processing of the loans has come as a result of overwhelming numbers received.
The statement said the sheer volume of applications will not allow them to meet the current turnaround time for disbursement. However, they are assuring all applicants that they are doing their best to make disbursement as early as possible.
Below Is the Full Statement
Please be informed that there will be delays in the processing of loan applications due to the overwhelming numbers we have and continue to receive daily.
Our team is working diligently to process the applications but the sheer volume will not allow us to meet our current turnaround time for loan disbursements with our existing workforce.
Should the current trend persist, loans would be disbursed from four (4) to six (6) weeks
upon receipt of applications at the Fund Secretariat.
However, if the situation normalizes, we
will revert to the previous turnaround time.
We acknowledge that the delay may be inconvenient for those who have submitted loan applications and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We assure our members that we are doing everything we can to disburse loans to applicants as early as possible.
We count on your collaboration and support as we take steps to address this temporary
challenge. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Fund Secretariat for assistance ( 0302429888 / 0200662031)
